Site Updates:
10/21/07- What an update? This is madness! I've got the superhero up, but haven't switched the poll over. You can weigh
in on the message board on who will be the new nominees. I also added brand new things that I think in my doom area. Check
it out! (this was Kiah, btw).
6/4/07- Hey everyone (or every both of you), there is going to be a delay in this month's superhero, as the standings require
some photoshoppery... or at least that's whay I'd like to do. However, I'm going to be away from my regular computer for
the next month. So you have one more month to place your votes on Kick Butt Female Superhero. Sorry for any inconvenience,
but at Spiffin Defenestration we are very good at delays. 5/1/07- Happy Birthday Jessi! And I updated the superhero...
well, supervillian now, muahahaha! What, we are talking villains here, maniacal laughter is an obligation. So anyway, I
hope you like the Super Villains and if you don't then you can go complain about it in the forum. This month we are voting
for Kick Butt Girls on the poll, since they are pitifully overlooked at this site. Not because they never get nominated,
but because they always loose to some fine looking man. With high school girls voting (previously, we are collegiate now...),
it's no surprise either. So this month you have no choice, you must unleash your inner feminist! I hope I didn't forget
anyone... if I did you can also bitch about that in the forum. Don't forget to watch an all new Veronica Mars tonight!
4/1/07- I've updated the superhero and the poll. Jessa and I have decided to go with a villain poll for this month, so pick
your fave. I'm sure you won't have trouble guessing who I'm voting for, but here are some reasons these guys are on the poll!
Zuko: He seemed like he was learning about caring and humanity, but when we last saw him he sold out for his own
selfishness. Oh, and he is the antagonist, no matter how much we like him.
Sheriff Don Lamb: For two and a half season he stood for the corruption in Neptune, California. Like any good villain,
he's had his moments of softness, but it's still pretty difficult to forget him mocking the titular character for being raped.
What a jerk.
Donald Lydecker: The season one baddie on Dark Angel, Donald Lydecker was the favourite Dark Angel baddie of many fans.
And since Lamb put us on the topic of mocking, how about Deck and the mocking of recovering alcoholics? Real upstanding guy.
(sarcasm).
Visser Three: The psychotic big bad from Animorphs, he was bent on destroying the world... or at least all of humanity.
He especially liked turning into a bunch of insane monsters. A very classic villain.
Okay, a bunch of villains nearly made it up on the poll, and I had a tough time choosing. So if you have anyone you'd like
to see on the next Villain poll, please go and suggest them on the forum!
3/11/07- Lost and Avatar obsession lists are now up. Plus I rearranged the home page. Is it nice?
3/10/07- Well, now I made the obsessions page even fancier by creating pictures! You should totally check them out, because
they are pretty. :D
3/9/07- A new list is up in the obsessions page. Fun times for anyone who wishes to be further enlightened regarding the
depths of my insanity. I'm thinking I should do a Lost obsession list next. This one's on Veronica Mars. Check it out!
3/7/07- Whoa, I finally fixed the buttons to all be the same size! Except the rollover image for links just refuses to work
for no reason at all. Probably some weird issue with postdata or something... I don't know how that works, but it's the only
explanation I can think up. So I just got rid of it. No rollover image for you if you are going to be such a butt, Links!
That's all I did. Go to the forum.
2/28/07- New superhero is up. I've tried to organize the archive of superheros a bit better. And don't forget to check out
the forum everyone. We only have three members so far, and still we are having a good time. Now, you don't want to miss
out, do you? Oh, and by the way... Lamb is staying on the poll until he wins. If that persuades your vote or anything...
2/03/07- The superhero is updated... well half updated. And you've probably noticed I changed the background. I still couldn't
get the page to stop stretching. Hopefully no one has any complaints about the new one. I kind of like it, but of course
I do... I picked it out didn't I... I also deleted the link to the forum, since no one seems to remember their passwords
anyway. I plan on making a new forum pretty soon, since at least one person has expressed interest.
1/20/07- I tried to make all of the rollover pictures on the navigation bar the same size in the hopes that they'd stop stretching
the screen like they are, but it's not happening. Also, some of them are the wrong size, and I can't figure out why... It
may be the resolution, but I'm going to just work on those later. I might have to change the background, but I don't want
to do that because Jessa picked out this nice one for us! Still, if I can't get the screen to stop stretching... Also!
Amber suggested a word! That word is now up on the cool words page. Fe'nos tol! 1/17/07- I guess since I started updating
things, now I just can't stop! hehe. So I switched up things on my photos page (which is in my doom area). The old ones
are still there, but they are linked to at the bottom. Brand new photos are now the main attraction. And there is a whole
new page of fun in my doom area! It's my fan art, or some of it anyway. There're some Dark Angel, Maximum Ride and Lost
fan arts. I also deleted about half of the old site updates, since they are just cluttersome. And hey, two people voted
in the poll who are not me! That rocks everyone!
1/16/07- Hey all! Kiah here. I'm supposed to be writing a paper. Naturally, the website I haven't looked at in quite some
time needed some revamping... right? So if you've been here recently, you can see I changed up the page links, and that's
a fun time. I also switched the backgrounds on pages in my Doom Area. I also changed pretty much everything it said about
me in the About Us section of the site. New pictures there too! Aaaand, that's about it, but hopefully everyone enjoys!
Oh yeah... and then I switched the Superhero. 11/28/05- Hey peoples! It's Jessa. I was thinking of redoing the site
and stuff, so I'm here and I've started the re-vamping. We'll see how this ends up. See ya on the flip side!

Superhero
of the month for November!

|
| Photos from AvatarSpirit.net. You should check it out, because it's like the greatest site ever. |

Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Katara and Toph are two of the most powerful benders in all the nations. Katara found the Avatar,
trapped in ice through the use of her excellent water bending abilities, and that was before she really blossomed as a bender!
She has since had training and lots of practice. She is a healer, and has done many amazing things with her healing abilities.
While using water bending to be a healer is the tradition in the water bending tribes, Katara refused to let that block her
from battle, and fighting alongside Aang. She is the most powerful water bender, and has only just begun to learn her craft.
Katara is powerful and determined and absolutely worthy of being Superhero of the Month.
And yet, like so many heroes... like the good heroes, Katara would be less without her friends. Toph is one of those
friends, and is no small thing to be dealt with herself. Toph is blind, but hasn't let that, or (more of an obstacle) her
overprotective parents keep her from her path. Toph is not only the most powerful earth bender in the nations, but she is
the most powerful earth bender ever. Toph can bend metal, and FREAKING AWESOME is the only thing that can possibly describe
it. Despite being blind, Toph often serves as lookout for her friends, because she is so in tune with the earth and her surroundings.
With such a powerful Earth Bender and Water Bender at his side, the Avatar has a mighty boost to his side of the fight
against the Fire Nation. He could never win without Katara and Toph.
